rechargable 123\'s

Why doesn't anyone make these available that work in the Surefire high output Lumen flashlite's? From what I hear they don't have enough juice but there has to be a bulb/battery combo that would work well for the high output one's.

Has anyone looked in Radio Shack or any other supliers to see if it is possible to get a setup that recharges the used 123's? Thanks in advance.

Of course if you're talking just of attempting to charge used lithium 123s, I haven't read about such a thing.

Thanks for the link geepondy,

Seems the fire/explosion risk is high and the rechargable 123's today don't cut it. Maybe down the road they will have something better come along. I guess the 10X from SF will be the current way to go for high lumens and renewable power source.
