Hi,

I am new here. I have a Nitecore EX10 I got a while back and I have been using Surefire CR123A batteries in it. I recently got some UltraFire 16340 batteries and a charger, but the UltraFire batteries are too long for the EX10 (piston won't actuate). What rechargeable CR123A batteries will work in the EX10?

Thanks.

I have found so far that the protected AW cells (black label) fit in my EX10 and work very well. I have tried Trustfires and Ultrafires and they are both too long!

Using my EX10 with the AW RCR123As since it came out and it works perfectly.

AW works fine. If you're interested in other alternatives, they're LiFePO4 17340, Ultrafire 3.0V (green wrapping) and MP Li-ion 3.6V. I'm sure there're more, but these are what I have and work.

Thanks for the replies. I will order some of the AW RCR123As. I have a 2-cell UltraFire flashlight that works fine with those UF batteries I mentioned, so at least they won't go to waste
