This will be mail-order or Online (location doesn't matter).
Around $200. Less is better of course, but if the light is just that good I will really consider it.
I want a flashlight (hand held/self contained).
Between SMALL - Every day carry (4-7 inches).
and MEDIUM - Holster/belt ring carry. (>7 inches)
No real preference to power sources.
I would like to have as high of lumens as possible, I do work with police/fire and rescue.
I want between a wide and narrow throw.
50-150 yards/meters (I live in a very rural area/farm with wide open spaces)
Runtime is not too important, but the longer the better. I can make a sacrifice here if I have to. (I usually carry a Stylus pro for non emergency stuff)
Durability is critical/important
I really prefer tail mounted switch's, but I can make a compromise here as well. I would like to be able to use it with gloves on.
Mode selection isnt a big deal. This would for the most part be an emergency situation flashlight so I do not want to be clicking through 10 different modes to get to a high power mode though.
Material - Dont really care.
IPX7-IPX8 Not a HUGE deal but it would be nice to have.
It will be on my belt all the time. Sometimes during cold weather/rain.
Thats pretty much it, I tried to follow the guide as best I could. Thank you very much everyone.

Maybe consider Crelant 7G5CS. Can be used with one or two 18650 batteries, good mix between flood and throw, and is well built. It has a tailcap clicky switch for on and off and a body switch for mode switching, variable modes.......I own 3 of them. :-) One was dropped in the Tennesssee River in about 10 ft of water for around 30 minutes until I got enough nerve to swim down and retrieve it. Not one speck of water entered it anywhere. Hope this may help.
