I need a recommendation for a sleek and bright LED flashlight, max price $25. I need 50 of these as gifts.

Something along the lines of the Inova X1 but brighter. Or something similar to the Fenix L1T but less expensive.

I need something that will really "wow" the people that I'm giving these to.

Thanks in advance!

Wow 50 of them, are you an employer or something?

I know DX has discounts on bulk orders. That is something to consider.

Although I agree with what's said above. The iTP A1-3 can't be beat for that price point.

A second gen Mini Maglite LED (the multi-mode one). They're actually really nice lights.

If they are not really flashaholics, I think the Photon XLight Micro is a fine gift. They are inexpensive, a perfect size for a keychain, and really bright for the general purpose keychain light.

I gave away several iTP A3 EOS flashlights (one-mode, which I thought was easier than the upgraded with 3 modes, but the 3-mode has a lot more color choices, including a stainless steel option which is just over your price target) and put Energizer Ultimate Lithiums in them. I thought that was pretty good and at least a few of them were really impressed. They're great because it is so much light from a very small package, but as a gift they just don't look expensive. The keychain kind of makes them look like something out of a gumball machine.

I also gave away my stainless steel Trustfire XP-E F23 which isn't nearly as compact as the iTP, but it looks nice, is just as bright, has a tail clicky, and 3 modes including one strobe, which I hate, but it impresses people. It would take some lead time since you have to order it from China. Mine took a month to get here. I've ordered two more so I can have one and be able to give another one away. Also they don't come in any kind of box, so might need to find a gift box to put them in.

just surf on over to shiningbeam.com and check out some rominsen lights. nice little budget lights and will make great gifts for the nonflashaholic. :D

My friend's non-flashaholic husband was highly impressed with the Romisen RC N3 II Q5 which i gave him when he started a new job and needed a light. It has 2 modes with a forward clicky, runs off either 2xAA or 1xCR123 (with RCR123 you lose the 2 modes) and has very decent runtime.

If you're buying in bulk, Bryan from shiningbeam may be able to give a discount of some sort. I prefer shiningbeam as shipping is infinitely faster than DX and customer service is first rate!

I suggested a 2xAA light instead of a 1xAAA light as for most non-flashaholics, size counts, they can look at a 2xAA light and go 'yeah, it's a bit expensive but worth it.' but give 'em a 1xAAA light and tell them it's worth $25, they'll go 'No way!! Who pays that kind of money for a tiny light like that!"

You need only to read the first response to find the best and most useful light for general gift giving. Everyone will think they are getting something little until they see that it packs an incredible punch and is brighter than any flashlight they have ever seen before.

Buy a bunch of lithium batteries and put one in each and your friends/employees/etc will be thrilled.

Agreed. Plus you know you'll get a working product!

At a family party just this past weekend, several of the females at this party happened to notice as I was showing off my new ITP EOS A3 to the one other flashaholic (male) in this rather extended family. The ladies went nuts over this little powerhouse! I gave them my GoingGear discount code, and learned the next day that they had placed an order for five of the units, and plan to purchase more down the road for use as gifts.

So, take a look at the EOS A3 thread, see how many of the male flashaholics have had their A3's confiscated by their female significant others, and draw your own conclusions about its suitability as a gift.

Cheers.
