Redwall?

Has anyone read any of the books? They are classed as children's books but I find them a pleasant read. Much easier to pick up and put down than say the LOTR books.

Redwall was part of the daily reading I would do with my son at bedtime. I think we read all but the latest. Very entertaining. There was a PBS animated Redwall series on a few years ago. We were able to get an autographed copy of one of the books (can't remember which) when Brian Jaques came to a local Barnes & Noble a few years ago.

dindt know they were books; saw the cartoon one weekend w/ younger sis, VERY well done.

haven't read them (or know what they are), but by your explanation it sounds like the chronicals of narnia might fit the bill too. (c.s. lewis, a personal friend of tolkien no less!)
