Refinishing question

So I have tried search and it just comes back with a couple of Duracote threads and then just a bunch of stuff with one flashlight in a picture thread thats buried DEEP in the thread.

So I just bought a couple of well used M951's that I would like to have refinished, is there anyplace that is light friendly that wont lose all my little parts? Or would I just be better off having them bead blasted and Duracoting, or something along those lines myself? I think I just want basic black but part of me wants to do one in Olive Drab.

Also are there any tips and tricks you guys can give me to help me out. I was thinking about buying one of the Oveready thingys to pull the lenses but part of me also wants to leave the lenses in and then replace the Lenses and bezels when this is all said and done to protect the threads. Its how I painted my old BEAT up mag and it worked pretty good. Anyhow thanks in advance for your time and criticism.

For flashlights, I prefer either a completely bare finish with a nice bead blasting, or a super durable Hard anodized finish. Paint always gets ruined. Even duracoat or powdercoating looks like crap after a while. I haven't tried cerakote, so that may also be an option.

I can have them Cerakoted for you, though I'm not sure on the price. It shouldn't be more than about $80 for the pair. It would be less, but the shop has a $75 minimum, plus tax.

I'd refer you to the Cerakoting thread, but it looks like it's out of commission for a bit.

I'm pretty interested but it would take me some time to get that extra money raised.
