Reflector size questions

I have an LED flashlight that resembles a Dorcy Cool blue. I wonder if I buy a floating lantern (with battery) and put the bulb from the Cool Blue into this one if the beam would be brighter/more useable, compared to the small reflector of the Cool Blue.
