Hi guys
Can anyone help
I'm in the process of building a 1/5th scale model
and i'm looking to make up some headlight for it and maybe some spotlights
I'm looking for some 35mm dia reflectors and lens any ideas??

Sounds like fun. All my searchlights pretty much use huge homemade reflectors such as the 24 inch LightSward, 30 inch NightHawk, 36 inch Gorilla, 50 inch Monster and the World's biggest, brightest single unit searchlight Under design and construction status: at 72 inches and up to 24 kw HMI at 2.3 million lumen, equal to 75 kw halogen. I do work with small lenses and reflectors, but I don't have hard numbers, just lots of experimenting. I'm building a "follow spot" for a play at a local theater.

Fraen FRC-N series are 35mm in diameter, and are pretty decent reflectors.

Deal extreme has a lot of stuff that might work for a model. Then there is e-bay too. 1/5 scale of what? I have some nice little glass reflectors I pick up years ago that look like small head lights, but I did not see 35mm.
