Repair Streamlight ProPolymer 4 AA Lux???

I have a couple of PP4AA (still a great light after all these years!). One of them has quit working due to something wrong with the body/tailswitch. Does anyone know how to remove the tailswitch on a PP4aa? I think if i could remove the switch without breaking something it could easily be repaired.
I was just going to buy a replacement but they are much more expensive now than 4-5 years ago (it was under $25 then).
