Replacement for my nitecore ea4

hey guys, need a replacement for my nitecore ea4, its an awesome light but i want something that blow it out of the water for $100, any suggestions?

If you want to stick to 4xAA, check out the vinhnguyen54 thread in the CPF custom flashlight builders and modders section. I just got a Sunwayman D40A neutral from him that is putting out over 1400 lumens on turbo, I have a ea4w and it doesn't blow it out of the water-but it's so much nicer. I also got a Sunwayman T45C modded by him that is 2x18650 but is the same "feel" as the ea4 but only slightly longer and can really "throw" for its size. Both were right around the $100 price range.

thanks for the suggestion, but what about a light that uses 18650s? is there anything in that category that will smash the ea4 for $100 do u reckon?

There is the EagleTac SX25L3 in MT-G2-P0. It really does blow the EA4 out of the water but its about $129. Three 18650's, 2700 LED Lumens, 4 brightness levels. Very floody creamy white beam.

There is also the EagleTac GX25A3 which is very similar to the EA4 (a bit brighter and a bit more throw) but only uses 3xAA and is much smaller with a lot less parasitic drain.
