I have an arc AAA premium that isnt as white or bright as a regular AAA arc that I had, and was wondering what the best available white LED for brightness and throw, that would interchange with the one in my premium?, and how much would it cost someone to do the work?, thanks in advance.. looking for an LED that wouldnt hurt the runtime very much either..

You can't really replace the LED in a AAA since the whole inards are potted in epoxy. The only thing that you can really do mod-wise is have someone mod it with a luxeon emitter but I think that would kinda kill the runtime a little.

it's possible, but certainly not feasible.
the arcs already use the best bins available. they're still subject to variation though, which is why your regular outperforms your premium.
if you really wanted to do it, the only way to ensure you get a led that's better is to hand-sort them yourself.
