Replacement Pacific Lenses

Just throwing this out there. If you want to replace the polycarbonate lens on your Peak Pacifics order the 17.7mm x 1.5mm mineral crystals from this site http://www.ofrei.com/index.html. They work perfectly in the SSC models of the Pacific and require the front of the reflector be sanded down a little for the old Lux III models. I like having a little extra thickness up front although the standard 1mm models would probably also work. They're 2.50 each and minimum order quantity is $15.00. If anyone wants to go in on some with me, I wouldn't mind having some backups. I actually have some of the 17.8mm x 1.5mm (2) and 17.8mm x 2mm crystals but they're just a hair too big.

Can you include different sizes to reach the minimum order?? IM interested in some for my Rainier in 21.8mm and maybe some for my HDS in 22.6mm UCL are so thick..PM details.

You can mix and match, I would also like to get a 19mm x 1.5mm for my carribean. At 2.50 each we need at least 6 pieces.

How are you replacing the lens on the Pacific? I can see how this is possible/easy on the Caribbean, Atlantic, and all other models than have an internal lens retaining ring but the Pacific is sealed on both ends, yes?

Negative, you should be able to disassemble the head by unscrewing the halves. Its hard like hell, cuse the oring is dry, by you shopuld be able to by holding the threaded part and unscrewing the top...

BTW I will be interested in the regular mineral glass . They are thinner ( .90mm-1.05mm thick) and will let my bezels sit flush with the head, and at 2.80 for a 3 pack its too cheap to miss.. http://www.ofrei.com/page_176.html
