I've read through a lot of these posts and they only dive into deeper detail than I really need.
My simple requirement(s) is that I'm looking for a headlamp that will run CR123 batteries.
Most of my flashlights use CR123s and this will most likely live in my glovebox in Michigan winters.
The secondary demands:
I don't really want to spend a fortune, somewhere $40 – $80 if possible. Single or double batteries, prefer single CR123.
Doesn't need to be bright, 80-200 lumens max is fine. Should have a low setting, most seem to.
I don't really care if it's cool, warm whatever. Not sure if I would like flood or not, never had a headlamp to compare.
I might need to change a tire, car battery, read a map or walk a trail with it. All purpose.
So far I'm leaning toward the SPARK SG3-CW or Princeton Tec Remix Pro, unless someone has a better idea.
Thanks,
Brian
