Request for an AA Surefire E2E LED

Could anyone take a Surefire E2E body and convert it to single AA LED for me? Prefer High of 80 or more for as long as possible...a low low for a long time at the other end. Only need high/low..maybe by twisting the head? Forward clicky with momentary wanted (think the E2E is like that already isn't it?)

There is a ArcMania Maxlite body that is 1xAA. It will fit Surefire E series heads. Lokk around or request one from B/S/T forum. Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't like that body design with the big grip ring...I want a simple E2 body.

I have been looking for someone to mod an E2E for me for nearly a year.

I want an E2E with an LED head that will run on single AA. Preferably Hi/lo only settings. I know somebody can do this I just haven't connected with them yet.

Could the 200lumen KX2C head be used for this? Or maybe something custom?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for who could make this a reality for me?

You could get an Aleph 17500 body which will work with any e2e head. Check with kuku in the dealers/manufacturers forums on the market place, as he makes a led drop in for standard E series incan heads. Milkyspit is another option, if you can afford the price and the long wait. The KX2C want work on a single aa because of the low voltage in the aa cell.

I'll move this to CB&M for you, to see if someone bites there.

However, I think your best bet will be to look around and see the work done by well-known modders here, and then ask them direct... Milkyspit is one, DaFabricata is another possibility... there are quite a few who could do this sort of work.

It is not a duplication...one thread was a year old request that I bumped in the Custom forum and the other was a general "who does such things?" question. I wanted exposure in the LED forum since the request thread was buried and ignored for so long thus the new thread with a more general inquiry.

Well you could just sleeve the e2 for a fit with the batteries. As for the switch you may want to look for it here.

It amounts to a duplication, and it is not permitted.

Furthermore, I see you now have a 3rd thread on the same topic. That is a further violation of Rule 9. I have some sympathy with you, as your question is an interesting one and you have not received any response until recently, but you do need to understand the Rule on cross-posting. The fact that I and others have been chasing around after your threads on this topic illustrates the confusion that can result.

I'm not going to embarrass you by merging the 3 threads now; I'll just close this one. I'll respond to your question later, in your other thread, as I'm sure there's a solution to it.
