I am trying to power an LED on constant current but I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm using an LT1965 Regulator to adjust battery voltage down to 1.8V. My LEDs are red and rated at typ. 1.7V - 20mA, max 2.2V - 30mA. I thought that if I used a 5.1 ohm resistor in series with the led from the regulator output, that they'd draw 20mA, but my multimeter is showing that the resistor and LED pair are drawing less than 0.01A.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
