I have one of the rexlights that doesn't work on any 1.5V batteries.I have been e-mailing Dora back and forth for 3 days now and all I get is run it on 14500's.Has anyone been successful at returning one of these lights AND getting one back that works on 1.5V batteries? All I want is what I paid for.

He might not have any to exchange. It was a limited item. You should try contacting Rexlight.

Now i'm actually glad that I didn't get my Rexlights until now. Seems like the latest batch actually had a few tweaks/fixes from the initial run.

If Kai won't take it back, i'm sure there's someone who will be willing to buy it knowing it only runs on 14500s.

I'd like to keep and use this light.H*LL I'd even be happy if he just sent me out the pill and I'll replace it myself.

Yes I did and I may try that but the person doesn't seem very responsive.

Learn something new every day.

BTW the guy said he would test the light for proper function on alkalines BEFORE he would ship.

A good seller will generally help you out if your not satisfied with your purchase. Hopefully you get help from one of the two people and your not stuck with a crappy light.

Kai's site says the replacement pills are almost ready for shipment(if you can believe that). He just got a batch of Rexlights in so, keep emailing Dora!!!!!

It was brand new in the box.Thats what I was told anyway. When a light has a problem right out of the gate(a known problem at that) I go back to the dealer.

Good luck, I can not get anyone at kaidomain to return my emails about a defective switch.

I have been e-mailing back and fourth with Dora and has been very nice and polite with me.The only problem is she keeps saying the same thing.Try a 14500,use a 14500 but I would like the light to work as advertised.

Maybe I'm just:banghead:

If you are a good dealer then he should not even have to bring up the warranty issue in this forum. You need to stand behind the products you sell and stop giving your customers the runaround.
