If i put 3 separate led's (red, blue,and green) in a lamp, will i get a white beam? hmm

Yes, if you can adjust the brightness levels of the LEDs and if you can mix the beams very well...

Ever looked at a Sauce Lightwand? as long as you make sure the colours are all mixed up well, you should be able to get an almost white result...
In theory this should be a better way to gain good color-rendering (IMO) but I'm not sure why this hasn't been done before...
