I had my Jetbeam RRT 21 fall out of my pocket and hit the pavement. I picked it up and turned it on, it was stuck on high. The control ring had no effect on output. The tail switch turned the light on and off perfectly. I messed around tightening and loosening the bezel and tail cap. I left the batteries out for a few minutes and tried again. Now it was stuck on low and then strobe.
Last I took the light and hit the tail cap down hard on my desk with bezel up. The light now is back to normal operation. I think something mechanical happened with the magnetic control ring and caused this to happen. Has anyone had one of these lights apart and might know? :thinking:
