Anyone here running 9P on 2 x Pila-150A batts, or 1 x Pila-168A on 6P/M2/G2...? DO they all perform well in SF lights? Will the output be dimmer that cr123a?

2x150S on 9P excellent, longer bright burn than 3x123
1x168S on 2x123 incandescent lights very dim, not recommended

To run your 2 x 123 lights on a 168S, you can buy a Pila 3.7 volt lamp assembly. It's interchangable with the Surefire P60 lamp assembly and works perfectly well with a 168S.

This won't work on the Executive series (different lamp assembly), but works on the 6P, G2, C2, etc.

I've read that the Pila 3.7 lamp assembly has more sidespill and less throw than the P60, but I can't confirm it.

I own a C2 with Pila 3.7V and 168S and can confirm that sidespill with the 3.7V Pila lamp is more and throw is less. This is not an idictment as I am very happy with this combination. I own a 9P with 2x150S and the 150S's are fantastic in a 9V SF. In my opinion the 150S's perform better than 123's in a 9V configuration. Go to my website if you want more information on these batteries.

Check out the thread in Dealers Corner started by Jon to see what all lights Pila's are working in very good thread for anyone thinking of getting some Pila cells I love mine.

I have other qns. What is the difference btw 150A and 150S? 150A doesn't fit into 9P?

You can make an adapter to fit a streamlight strion bulb into an e2e. Running from a 168s cell, this works very nicely.
