Please, can anyone provide a runtime vs lux graph for the Solarforce T1 to show the quality of its regulation?

I believe I found an 18650 runtime graph for the T1 on high here.

It looks rather strange. I wonder if this light is better regulated on two cells.

Interesting. Is this an indicator or direct drive? What capacity 18650? I don't really need this light but the placement of the clip looks like an ideal high power edc. Cs anyone verify its reliability, UI, and its real world throw distance?

I think it is an indication of a buck-only driver, and at about 36 minutes it goes into direct drive when the battery voltage drops below a threshold. I presume that on two cells (CR123A or 16340) it would remain regulated for a much higher percentage of the time. Interestingly the battery used is a "Samsung ICR 18650 30B protected" which can be charged to 4.35 volts. If this cell was charged to 4.35v then the light would be ever more poorly regulated on a standard 4.2v cell, and it is really a two-cell flashlight that nominally works on one cell.

I bought the T1 because I also liked the deep-carry clip in addition to the forward-click switch and simple interface. These aspects of the light did not disappoint.

Reliability is uncertain. I returned the head of my light and am waiting on a replacement because I heard something rattling. The light still appeared to work perfectly however. I'll let you know if I have any problems with the replacement head.

I haven't seen any reviews of this light, and would be interested in your opinion of it once you have it working.

I like the form for a general use light.
I have a couple of Solar Forces, and they feel solid.

I don't need any more lights, personally, so for the most part, any lights I buy now, are pretty much for other people to use. Therefore I am looking for lower cost, value lights.
