Sandwich assembly walkthrough?

Can anyone point me to instructions on how to make a sandwich? I ordered parts, but don't know what goes in what holes. The assembly section for Converter Boards seems to be empty, and all I've found here is how to assemble modules into flashlights, not the modules themselves.

There is no official walkthrough as far as I know. Wayne is using his special fixture to build the sandwich so I guess other people cannot follow his procedure.

As a result, it seems everybody has his own assembly procedure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif This page briefly explains mine, and you can find others by searching the CPF.

Thanks, your page was pretty nice. Especially your note about "wiring diagrams", somehow I had missed seeing them on Wayne's site /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif, that's really what I needed.

I have a question regarding building sandwiches. If I'm going to build a badboy sandwich to power a Lux III, how does the vf of the led figure in the operation of the sandwich. I understand that the BB is current regulated but what about the voltage, what controls the voltage going into the led? Does the sandwich power the luxeon at whatever voltage the cell is providing at any given time or is it regulating it too?
