Aw man. That 3 cell body seems like a natural for the McLux PR with a DB 1000. And they're CHEAP. I just can't tell what color the HA is though.

Oooh...another question. Since so many where pleased with the KL4 head running on 1 CR123 battery (3V), wouldn't it run just as well on 2AA batteries (3V)?

The 3 cell body looks similar (maybe identical) to TW3 offered by Tactical Warehouse, but yes, it's very cheap.

To answer some questions in this thread:

The KL4 won´t run on 2AA cells - at least not from NiMhs - I had been running a KL4 head successfully off a 3AA body though using 3 2100ma Sanyo NiMhs. You could try a 3x1233 body like this or an UBH with 3 x 123 or with 2 x 17500 LiIons for it too but might well overdrive the LED then.

These are the same TW offered IMO - in the initial thread a guy from Taiwan correctly identified them as Vital-Gear parts - as TAD openly names them too - see how good competition is and why some cloud their sources /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Edit - just fired up a KL4 with 2AA Alkaline and L91 Lithiums and it lit up - might not be a good runtime with ALkalines and why use L91 AA´s ? I think using 123s is better & cheaper anyway.
