If you are using the Seoul MCR's from the Shoppe, do you still need to use the .030" copper discs to shim the emitter up? :shrug:

I was never fond of using the copper discs. If the reflector has an opening bigger than the shoulder of the emitter, then use the copper disc. If the new McR reflector is designed for seoul and rests on the shoulder of the led, then no need copper disc.
