SF E1L decision

Hi All,
I've been wanting a Surefire E1L for a few years now and went to pull the trigger, only to discover that no dealer will ship to Australia. SF does have an Aussie dealer, but it's $180 for the light and $15 for postage, which translates as $202US (just for point of reference!) A fair whack over the $139US retail price.

Obviously this is different for every individual, but if you own this flashlight, would you have considered it a good purchase if you had to pay $200? I know there are a lot of other lights at this price point.

No, it isnt worth 200 dollars. Get one on the MP for 90-100 and try to get someone to ship it to you. They are on there fairly frequently.

Surefires are nice lights - but $200 for a 45 lumen model seems a bit rich.I buy most of my lights locally- picked up my zebra sc600[ similar size, but with 750 lumens] for $99 free delivery.

Definitely check CPFMarketplace out. A lot of people don't mind shipping International.
