SF-E2L, KX2 head at Lower Vin?

Quick question, how well does the 2 mode KX2 head run at 4.2V ?

Thinking about running mine with 17670 cells.

Anyone ever try this?

I've done it before and it seems to output the same. I'm looking for a head right now.
