SF P60 lamp?

How does one know when a SF P60 lamp is going bad or when or if it needs replacing?

What say you?

When it's very yellow even on fresh batteries or simply when it blows...

I would try new cells first,if that does not light it up then you need a new one. I have never had a P60 do anything but work or not work perhaps I have been lucky with those. I had A MN21 get foggy before it quit and have blown some others but so far the P60 lamps I have are good to go

I have never had a P60 or any SF LA's dim out before blowing. They are bright white until they blow(my experience, anyway). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I never did have any of my lamps blow or die naturally. Only time it did happen was when I accidentally left an MN01 in my E2e.

As a matter of practice, carry a spare.
