For the amount of light the KL3 puts out, I think it is more suited to the shorter 2 cell light, I think that it is too long to justify using more than occasionally. If you're wanting a surefire + KL? setup I would have to recommend the E2e + KL1 as being the best way to go (at the moment, anyway).
