I am new to this forum so I would like to thank everyone for all of their input and advise. I need to light up a display case that has graphics on the front. It is 44 inches wide and 66 inches tall. I was planning on using about 30- 90 lumen 1 watt rebels running down each side at 350mA. I plan on making the box about 2" deep and the back wall will be white.
My thoughts are to just "throw" a bunch of light in to illuminate the graphic. Will this work or will I need some type of optics to get the light towards the middle area? I know the edges will be brighter than the center and that will be OK. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
