I think he means that the lights won't come with the Reylight logo but you can choose to have them engraved for an extra 2 bucks.

Someone else answered your question. The driver is rated for up to 1.5v according to Lumintop's specs.

Rey is good about replying. Sometimes takes a day or more because of time difference. My suggestion is being
that this uses a 219B & will not work with 10440's, consider it may not be as bright as you'd want.

This is a question that dogs so many AAA flashlight makers, but it seems good business to inform customers so that bad feelings are avoided if someone does try a 10440 type battery and the light is destroyed. Will it work for a limited time?
