Shipping batteries ?

I am new to the flashlight world, having only owned one basic model so far, but I am very interest in the Olight SR 90 Intimidator. My question is, I have heard that some online suppliers will not ship batteries and I wondered what the position is with a torch that uses a rechargeable pack like this model ? Thanks.

You can't ship lithium batteries internationally per some federal regulation. So for instance, I can't ship any rechargeable batteries in-country from the US. Can't even put them in your checked baggage if you travel. Have to go via ship or in your carry-ons.

Thanks for that answer. I didn't realize boat shipping was not affected by the banning regulations.

I got two shipments from the US when I came to Jordan. One via boat/ship and the other via airplane. It was very specific that no batteries of any kind could go in the air shipment, but they could go in the boat shipment. While that is a way around the regulations banning air shipment of lithiums, try finding someone that will send packages via boat.
