Any of you know about this ShoreLite Vx-1 at GlowBug? It's a clip-on single LED. They say it has step-up circuitry, a magnifying lense and four power modes.

I like that it has adjustable light output. I'm always amazed by the number of times I've used my PAL light on low for a nightlight.

I hate the clip. Some other lights use a similar system. Its just way to big and clunky. I prefer something like a pen clip installed at the front of the light and facing backwards. That way you can just slip it onto the bill of a baseball cap and use like a headlamp for task lighting. That's what I do with my Infinity Ultra.

It looks like a pretty nicely done cross-breed of the Pal Gold, an Arc AAA and the Clipper-3. Also looks like the clip assembly can be removed leaving just a slim body with no sticky-outy bits, but I could be wrong.

If my torch buying activity wasn`t on stop for the winter, I`d be very tempted by that one.
