Does anyone know if there are CREE or SSC packages available for Agilient ADS, Multisim or any other circuit simulator? I'm thinking of doing an indoor lighting setup for my 4th year EE project and want to design a driver from the ground up. Obviously having these models could make my life a lot easier. I've done some Googling without much luck.

I have made my own fairly accurate simulation models for LEDs in LTSpice. I don't use Cree or SSC LEDs though. LTSpice has some built in models for OSRAM LEDs. There are some tools for specifying your own diode models based on the information from the datasheet. Check the LTSpice yahoo group for more information.

LTSpice is a very useful (and free) tool. I have designed a number of drivers with it, and their performance was extremely close to the simulation.

+1 on just making your own. There is a typical current vs voltage curve on the data sheet. Just keep tweaking your model until it matches pretty well. A LED is just a diode with a higher forward voltage and a more series resistance.
