I have a UltraFire WF-501B Cree R2-WC 250-Lumen LED flashlight. I recently replaced the batteries with rechargeables, and since then, it has started flashing like a strobe light.
Does anyone know the reason for this or how to stop it?
Not familiar with that particular light, but will it take the voltage of rechargeables? Just a thought. 2 RCR123's would be approx. 8.4v, but 1x18650 would be 4.2v

I notice you left out the variables....as in 1) How many batteries? 2) What type of batteries were they? 3) How many rechargeables? 4) What type of rechargeables? I am going to make a guess here and say that you likely didn't check your rechargeable batteries and they had probably dropped below the driver circuits low voltage threshold.
just echo-ing the others here...
What batteries are you using, and how many?
What batteries did you use previously, and how many?
What is the voltage range of the drop in?
