I just built a single xpg for a nice easy back up light... and also to have for a buddy just in case they forgot there light or they have HID light issues ... Ha HA HA , But it does happen from time to time ..
So here is the basic set up a xpg on a 2inch alum sink, i did add a More larger sink to the back of the disk, but didnt take a Picture of it, sorry
next up is the reflector i got from Led supply its a 20mm Carclo Lens, with a 12 deg optic
i used a AMC 7135 driver to drive the led , the battery pack is 3 C cells in series ..
Here is a shot of the unfinished canister as i still need to add the latches and put a coat of paint on it ....
Here is a close up shot of my reed switch... to turn the light on all you do is rotate the white delrin knob...
this design was made by a good friend of mine Nwbrewer, and He came up with the idea, its very nice , and easy ...
here is a beam shot from 3 feet to the wall ..
and 2 from outside ...
so there ya have it , a simple build , all done in about 4 hours , Burn time should be 2 hours... or so..
