Count me as another person who hated that Spongemonkeys campaign. Agh.
While it may have been uh, memorable, the lasting impression had absolutely nothing to do with subs.

There's some speculation that he's actually Martin Short.
The dance moves are exactly like his Ed Grimley character, but I still think it's a youngish professional dancer in heavy makeup. If you look at the big photo of him closely, you can sorta see where the mask ends and his lips begin...?

I have a copy of the album. I had to go out and buy it just to hear how the rest of the song goes. On this album it's called "We Like to Party," but there's two versions of it, a radio mix and an extended club mix.

Notice that he has young-looking knuckles and fingers. I think I can see the line between the mask and his skin, about halfway down his chin.
