Does anybody out there have one? I would think that the LED's have a boost circuit so that they can run on 2 cells, but how about the incan lamp? Is it DD? I want to use my NiMH D cells in this torch. The product description in the Briteguy website specifies alkaline batts. Will the Xenon lamp suffer from the lower voltage of the NiMH's? The SL website gives little insight on this subject.
