Small Blacklight for Work

I have an occasional inspection which I do at work. I would like to find a small torch for this. I need:

Blacklight. . .I know there are multiple wavelengths. . .I think normal ones will work.

Battery/Size. . .1xAA or 1xAAA Looking for a mate for my 1xAAA regular flashlight

Beam. . .Probably most any would work. Ideally, I would like a flood beam.

Brightness. . .Not sure how to determine on a blacklight. I'm thinking ideal is 20 - 40 lumens, but this is kind of a guess.

Switch. . .Only need on/off. Would prefer twisty, but tail click would be ok.

Head size. . .Would like it to be the same diameter as the body, if possible.

Cost. . .I'm not paying, so. . .$50 or less is ideal. . .$100 or less is probably OK.

For me, the above spec has been hard to find, so please just link to anything close and I'll try to sort it out.

If 2xCR123A would be OK, the Inova X5 UV would meet the rest of your criteria.

Otherwise, you might try contacting Peak, since they have made semi-custom UV lights in the past (not sure if they are still doing special orders at present)....

Arc-AAA-UV could be another option to consider.

Would a Photon Freedom Micro with a UV led do the trick ? Very small and light, reasonable price - under $15.00 from Batteryjunction.com (less 5% with your CPFM discount code).

These special-purpose Photon lights produce a powerful beam of ultraviolet light, which will activate fluorescent ink, strips, & fibers that are used as anti-counterfeiting measures in bank notes, credit cards, casino chips, passports, checks, securities, cryptographic papers, etc. These key-chain sized UV lights are also great for checking fluorescent hand stamps at clubs, or curing UV-sensitive glue. The UV Photon features the extended housing of the Covert Photon I to protect your eyes from direct exposure to the UV light.

The beam has a fairly narrow focus and unlike a traditional blacklight, most of the light produced by the UV Photon is just outside the visible spectrum (370 nm). In full darkness it will cause objects to fluoresce at distances of 20 feet or more. In bright daylight the effectiveness is greatly reduced, but is still usable at about 6-12 inches.

Another vote for Arc-AAA UV. 1xAAA, 375nm wavelength suitable for most purposes, twisty for on and off, sleek and $40.

One other thing, however; for a LED UV light to reach 20 to 40 lumens, you'll need go with a light with multiple emitters. Inova X5 will give you that sort of power, but it uses more exotic CR123As and is larger than what you desire.
