Hey guys normally I know exactly what I want but this is a bit of a different circumstance so I'm coming to you guys for help.

Last year I gave a close family friend a iTP A3 EOS as a present and he has since used it as a light to walk the dogs at night with the pocket clip reversed clipped onto the brim of his baseball cap.
When we recently went camping together he mentioned how the color on my Zebralight H31w is much nicer and gives the surrounding area a much more natural appearance.

My question is - is there a small neutral/high CRI light available in which I can reverse the pocket clip?
Bonus if it's compatible with Li-ion.
Thanks guys.

4Sevens Quarks have reversible clips, and will take Li-ions. Most neutral whites Quarks*come in dual cell versions but you can get the spare single cell body for the AA to shorten it for a cap. The moonlight is perfect for camping too. Many are currently on sale now due to the rebranding thing.

A QAA XM-L w/14500 is a real tiny powerhouse and the 2xAA body makes a great spare batt tube... All for <$75.

Hey reppans,

Thanks for the reply. I've decided to go for the high CRI Quark AA mini and I've just decided to improvise on the clip. :)

Good choice... I just picked up some Ti QAA Minis.... Don't use li-ion though. As far as clips are concerned davidt1 mentioned to me that the LD01 clips from fenixgear.com ($1.50) work... Check out his lights HERE

Like to see how you improvise the clip

If you must attach a light to a cap, there are better ways to do it than using a clip. Most clips are not meant to be removed from the light repeatedly.

Why do you need to remove the clip? If you keep it in a bezel up position, then you can just clip it to your hat bill when you need it.

That's one of the things that I like about my ZL H51Fc, the two positions for the clip -bezel up and bezel down.
Bezel down is best for me for pocket carry, bezel up puts the light just above my left or right eye when I clip it in from the side on my ball cap. The balance of the cap is great that way too, with all of the negligible weight of the H51 right near my head instead of out at the end of the bill.
