I am working on the very early design of a project including a very small pinhole CCD video camera, small LED light source (to illuminate objects within 3 inches range of the camera), and a bluetooth or wifi transceiver for the video images. The receiver would be within ten feet, and likely within three feet. Can anyone make a rough estimate of the power consumption for these devices, and how long they might run on a CR 1/3N or CR2 primary lithium battery? Powering the device for 20 minutes to an hour should be adequate.

so a little more research, and it looks like bluetooth doesn't quite work for full motion video yet. finding what numbers I could, my best guess is that it would take a CR2 battery to run these things for about half an hour, which to me seems totally acceptable. Does this guess seem reasonable to anyone with experience in this kind of stuff?
