I'm a civil engineer / inspector, looking for a light i can keep in my car. primary use would be inspection of manholes/catch basins and the like. I need a fairly bright light, as most of my work will be done outside, so i need to overcome standing in daylight trying to see into a very dark area. From browsing the forums I've seen that brightness vs battery life tends to be a trade off. I'm looking for a relatively cheap light, preferably under $100, and id be ok with a light that sacrifices battery life for "power."
