Agree with the 18650 + 4sevens light suggestion. You'll spend a lot replacing DX crap, and will be supremely unhappy when it fails on the job.

Also, any torch worth the money is going to be perfectly capable of standing up to day to day wear and tear (drops, falls, throws, and general rough treatment).
