His stuff looks interresting, but I was hoping for something turn key. I don't know much about solar chargers. I would like to hear some real world experiences.

His stuff is already turn key, if by turn key you meant that you had to put anything together. It's just plug and play really and there's lots of good info on solar power on that thread.
That first panel is great. Its like mine (5v) so perfect for usb. What it says is accurate about not needing conversion from 12v. Its got 20% more power than my xxl. Obviously its twice the price without the chargers & postage but is one of the few real usb chargers around.
I have a Voltaic http://www.voltaicsystems.com/amp.shtml Amp and is brilliant. I use a USB battery charger (USB Enloop as it can charge a single battery) attached to the battery to charge my enloops. I like the idea that the sun is powering the torches to provide light. As it come with a bunch of attachment I can charge my ipod touch (4th gen) and my mobile phone with it as well. Great thing also is that the battery can also recharge via usb. I travel a lot for work and the battery pack has saved me a couple of times. I highly recommend it. Note it does not do 10V as required by the ipad (which I don't have anyway)
As I am new to the 18650 world I would like to know if a USB charger would fill a AW2200. The battery fully charged is 3,000mAh so I suspect it would but again I am a noob at the 18650 batteries so I don't know what real world results would be.
