I believe it depends on whether or not your drop-in has a spring on the positive contact.

If you are buying drop in from solarforce, then it should not be a problem since all their positive point have springs.
In fact, i believe most P60 drop in have springs, so you don't have to worry at all.

From what I've seen they do. And I don't think I'm going to be getting any solarforce drop in. Apparently not very good

Oh, which ones are you looking into?
But like I said, P60 dropin usually have a positive spring, so you don't have to worry.

I'm for now getting the solarforce xpg 320lm 3 mode and lumens factory EO-4 Incan and a couple aw 3400mah 18650's
