Hi guys,

Was wondering if someone can please give me tips and what tools needed (that doesn't scratch or damage) to open the external lock ring on a Solarforce T1 tail cap?

I have not tried it but I think a pin spanner should work. I would want something with a lockable span so that it would stay in place.
 
been looking for one that will fit, doesnt do much, slips easily. i wonder if solarforce provides tools for this? we have 3 T1 that needs a boot replacement and another one a switch.
 
Looking at it again I can see that there wouldn't be room for pins that match the diameter of the notches because the switch boot would be in the way.
