Sold/Expired SOLD: Alu/Bronze CR2 Ion + Piglet + XR-E + Bonus

For Sale:

1x CR2 Ion Alu/Bronze in *uncarried* condition.
I had it a while but just sat on my shelf.
I replaced the original Cree emitter with a Cree XR-E P4.
The circuit used is a Piglet (Regulated FluPIC) with hi, lo, SOS and strobe modes.
The original circuit is also included in *as is* condition.

Also included in the package is an Alu CR123 tube for using CR123 cells on the same
CR2Ion head, to provide more runtime. This tube was custom-made in Australia.
It fits and works perfect, even as an aftermarket-part.

Both of these units can be attached to a keychain or lanyard.

This is mighty tempting. Can the head be re-modified in the future if needed? That is...is the head epoxied shut, etc...? 🙂

Not impossible at all... The stock-circuit was epoxied and I got it out fine.
The Head was not damaged at all...

The way I did is epoxy the emitter to a custom heatsink, then
use thermal epoxy to *connect* it to the side of the head for heatsinking.
And thus, the whole assembly is not potted. 🙂
