I was just checking these out. Why didn't they think of this 20 years ago. I must've had half dozen 110's & 112's that could've used this design

I agree. In the 1970's, I had one of those sheaths that opened the knife when you withdrew the Buck 110. Super cool, but not as much as an auto.
