They take a single RCR123 cell and the 1" diameter body is short and chunky. The head end is E compatible and the tail is C fitting. The star tailcap offers a good 'cigar' or 'fist' grip, and it houses a McClickie,
modified so that it can be locked out. This is a very Bright Light!
