I recently bought this and although I'd love to keep it, I'm in another recoup some funds mode and I am selling this.
I had some hopes that I could transplant the head innards into my purple swirly colored Aleph 3 head, but I only managed to scuff the brass ring while trying to remove...it won't come out. There's scuffs on the back of the light engine where my little pliers tried to twist it, but the light works 100% correctly. I just wanted to be sure I fully disclosed that.

Folks - this light is a real 'sleeper'. It's worth buying just to see how well the 3 XREs are focused - you'd swear you were looking at one VERY bright single emitter. The light is beautiful, too.

This is a bargain price, too - considerably less than it cost to build.

Free bump for an awesome light - somebody ought to grab it!
