This light can also run off 6 AA (6s, 7.2V) with this holder, or 2 X C size Li-ion with a sleeve. Runtimes on hi about 1 hr and 1.4 hr respectively. It can also accept higher cell voltage, up to 13 V, but above 10 V you will not get full dimming.
Color match between head and tube is decent, better in person than the pictures indicate.
The head, sink, and tube are thread-jammed together with strap wrenches eliminating the need for epoxy. Only AA compound was used so the light is fully serviceable, yet cannot be loosened inadvertently.
$525 shipped domestic, international additional at cost. Cells not included.
Deduct $37 if you do not need the 6 X 14500 holder.
I do not have a 6AA holder, but you can order one from the above link. If you want to use 2 X C cell, I can fabricate a PVC sleeve, add $5.
