Gonna go a different route in lighting and this is all not being used so off it must go!!!

5mega 1x18650 M head C tail body HA Nat. finish these are sold out and probably never to be seen again!! $69 shipped

Surefire M3 head for D36 modules . I also have a unique little doodad I am also including with this head. Its a set of Kydex molded spacers to replace the shock absorbing foam strip . What this Kydex does is keep the refector from being pushed upwards and losing contact with the pill so you dont need the outer spring and you get heat transfer to the body of the light thru the pill contacting the body of the light these heads seem to be getting harder to find these days $51.00 shipped

Hi Donn!!

Sure I will take a shot. Pretty simle concept. two pieces that fit into the spave above the reflector and replace the foam rubber.





It basically keeps the dropin from moving upwards and losing contact with the body. If I had the equipment I would make them from aluminum or something but the best I could come up with was hand forming from Kydex which is fun stuff to work with and very flexible stuff. I did two pieces because I was worried that a solid piece would get locked in there and become very difficult to remove. with two pieces they come out relatively easy. I have contemplated a one pice unit but never got around to trying it.

It looks like ~1/8" Kydex, and I think I have some around here somewhere.

I cant remember the thickness but it is the middle one I believe. Maybe .5ml?

Let me know if you need any pointers. It will take a cpl tries to get it close. Then a bit of hand sanding . Its a good afternoon project
